Everyday care
Dust with a soft cloth. Protect furniture from prolonged direct sun, heat and moisture. Lift rather than drag when moving; use suitable help for heavy pieces. Use each piece only for its intended purpose.
Wood and veneers
Use coasters and protective mats. Wipe spills promptly, then dry. Avoid soaking surfaces or using abrasive cleaners. Grain and tone naturally vary between pieces.
Stone and marble
Protect against spills and hot objects. Use a cleaner specifically approved for the stone and finish. Avoid acidic or abrasive products; blot spills promptly.
Glass, mirrors and metal
Use soft, non-abrasive cloths. Apply suitable cleaner to the cloth, not directly onto joints or mirror edges. Dry metal after cleaning; avoid scourers and harsh chemicals.
Fabric and leather
Check the upholstery care label before cleaning. Gently remove loose dust with an appropriate soft attachment. Blot spills without rubbing; avoid saturating upholstery. Use a qualified specialist for persistent stains. Leather treatments must be suitable for the particular leather finish.
Lighting
Switch off and disconnect power before cleaning, and let the fitting cool. Use a dry soft cloth and keep moisture away from electrical parts. Follow the specified bulb type and maximum wattage. Fixed electrical fittings should be installed and serviced by a qualified professional.
